So it seems SNL did a Burn Notice thing last night (I think last night?). It's not too funny, but the fact that it's about Burn Notice wins it so many points. And I think part of why I like it so much is that there are still a lot of people that don't watch it and worse- don't know what it is (sad but true).
So here you go, for your viewing pleasure:
( under the cut to be kind )
Michael would like to get meta and add in:
....people don't know my show? What?

Anyways. Hi.
So not that I've been around a whole lot lately, but just wanted to say that I'm going to be out of town this weekend. I'm going to Jersey to see my grandmother. I'll have the laptop, but I'm not sure how much I'll actually be getting online. We'll see. If we do have anything open, you may get slow tags through the weekend, otherwise everything will be caught up on Monday. If you need to reach me otherwise, you should know how. Or just email me (JourneysRose@tiernok.com).
Guess who's going to see The Blue Man Group? Oh yeah. Though I should be careful, I hear two of them are demons.
I'll be around tonight back and forth. If you want me grab me. I know it's rare lately, but I'm in an exceptionally good mood tonight, so I'm actually online. Feel free to harass me while I clean/pack.And let's hope the good mood lasts through the night, I could use it.

Alright, so...most of you should know by now that I'm without access to TV, and my internet connection isn't good enough to support my television needs. So I haven't been watching any of my shows this season. (Yes, it's KILLING ME!) And this only gets worse with tomorrow night being the BN premiere.
This is a note on my part saying that I won't be watching the show until....I am able to. Therefore please, please, please use spoiler cuts if it regards BN. And I won't be playing Michael in the new season yet, obviously. I really like being spoiler free as far as I can help myself, so I'll be avoiding episode related posts. I'm sorry.
I have very annoyed and angry Michael, Madeline, and Sam in my head. And I'm annoyed enough myself. (Do you realize how DEPRESSING it is to miss ALL of your favorite shows? That ALL of your canon muses have to chill out on a backburner or in AUs because they don't know what the hell is going on? It sucks, and they really hate for me it. They aren't one bit understanding.)
So my lovlies...enjoy the premiere tomorrow night. Think of me fondly. Lick the screen for me if you must.

(Set in
feeltherainfall aka his Losing My Religion verse. Co-written with
enjoythe_ride. Charlie as mentioned is
12yrs_life.)
Michael was bored. His cousin wasn't returning any of his calls, no matter how many taunting messages he left, and it was starting to hurt his feelings. He thought it might be time to send Charlie a little present. Maybe it would make things better between them. Michael smirked as he walked down the dark city street. Or it would upset Charlie enough to make him come to Michael. That might be even more fun, and definitely worth the trouble.
It was going to be simple, really. Franklin R. Downy was as close to royalty as New Orleans could have, and he had the castle to back it. Maybe not quite a castle, but close enough for Michael. With that castle, he had some very nice belongings. It was recent buzz along the underground circuit that he had bought a very old, very expensive necklace that dated back to real royalty. The fact that it was so valuable meant little to Michael. At least as far as money went. It was valuable to him for a whole other reason, and that was that when it went missing, he knew Downy would take down whoever it was that took it.
He smiled. That necklace would look pretty fantastic in Charlie's hand.
The estate itself wasn't the easiest to break into, but the old man seemed to not know a whole lot about motion sensors. Michael already knew how he would disable them before he even showed up, but when he got there and found them already cracked he was suspicious. He knew Downy was out of the country. It wouldn't possibly be this simple.

"Hatred comes from the heart; contempt from the head; and neither feeling is quite within our control." ~Arthur Schopenhauer
He hadn't given much consideration in the past to live in New York City. Growing up, it was all about finding a way out of Miami. During highschool he knew he had a few options for getting out, and the first he considered was joining the Army. But then he found some information about professional engineering, and it was something that really interested him. He started to look into it, and focus on the grades he knew he would need. He had a goal, and he was shooting high. MIT. He knew there was no way in hell his parents could afford it, and that his father wouldn't even accept it.
His way out came by way of scholarships. That and an acceptance letter to the first school of his choosing. To the day, he still had the scar in the back of his skull from where is father shoved him into a wall for daring to make their family look poor. As per usual, Michael sucked it up and buried it down. It didn't matter, because he had his way out, and he was never going back.

(Set in Losing My Religion, elsewhere known as the detective!au, but since these two don't seem to interact with anyone else in the verse - they're just on their own. Agent 99 is
failuretotrust. Mike's in a mood in my head, so I thought letting him be a sociopath for a moment might help.)
He smirked at the woman in front of him and moved forward to brush her hair behind her ear. She slid back against the wall and glared at him. His hand went out flat in the air, in a giving up sort of motion.
"What?"
"Don't fucking touch me," she said in a dry, even tone.
Michael frowned. "Aw, now you're taking away all my fun."
Agent 99 was most definitely backed into a corner. He'd fought her gun from her in a quick scuffle, after he had killed the other agent. She didn't plan on making any fast moves, because he was just as fast, if not faster than her. Max would likely tell her she had met her match. Her chin held high though. "I didn't realize this was supposed to be fun."
"Oh, it is." He nodded, a chuckle coming from his lips. He was grinning. "It's been a lot of fun, don't you think?" He moved closer to her, pressing her gun into her ribcage. "I've had fun, 99."
"And where does your fun go next?" She hissed. She and CONTROL had already followed the madman across several states and clear into Canada. Now he had pretty direct access to a cargo ship bound for China, and she was trying to keep him from getting on it.
"Out the door," he replied simply. The fight in keeping him on land had brought them to a small control booth by the docks.
"What?"
He nodded and stepped back. "You can go."

I’m not finished loving you. ~Grey’s Anatomy
“Mama!” Cole came running down the hall and jumped at Bela the moment she walked in the door. He was in a clear panic about something. She stepped back a bit in surprise, but bent to pick him up.
“What’s wrong, darling?”
Cole’s arms went around her neck tightly and he moved his face inches from hers, his own wet with tears. “Sara-Rose said there’s no such thing as Santa!!” He cried.
Bela sighed slowly and closed her eyes a moment, before opening them. “Your sister is just pulling your leg, Cole.”
“But she said! She said only stupid babies think Santa is real!”
“Well…” she sighed and raised a brow. “Am I a stupid baby?”
“No..” the small boy said slowly.
“Is your father a stupid baby?”
“Nuh-uh.”
“We both believe in Santa.”
“You do?” Cole sniffled.

I'll give you a list of my characters. Ask them questions, any questions, and they'll respond to you ICly. Ask as many as you want to any character that you want!
